Word from the Director
Tina Francis is an experienced business development professional with almost 20 years history working in the banking and mortgage industries in Toronto, Ontario. She has a successful track record as a sales professional in surpassing expectations and achieving desired results and has been recognized by the Canadian Mortgage Professional Magazine as one of 50 key influential people in the mortgage industry and was nominated for Best Newcomer Business Development Manager at the Canadian Mortgage Professional Awards. She was also recognized by the same publication for their Young Guns issue and Women of Influence issues.
Tina is motivated leader with an Executive Master of Business Administration with a focus in Global Leadership and was the first place recipient of the Small Business Institute’s Experiential Project of the Year Award in 2018, a national award awarded to graduate students for their MBA Feasibility Plan. Her extensive background in sales, marketing, business development and experience in launching new businesses, as well as her successes in her graduate studies has given her a well-rounded and solid business acumen that has led to growth and successes of her organizations.
Tina resides in the Greater Toronto Area with her husband and son, Aidan. In 2019, while researching for various after-school programs for her son, she came across IdeaLab Kids. She will be launching various locations in the GTA to be able to bring a unique hands-on learning environment that utilizes critical-thinking skills in a design-based learning environment while providing a fun experience for children.
